FAQs

Where do the grapes/ fruits come from?

We source our grapes locally across the state, mainly from the Eastern Shore and Westminster. For our hard ciders, we use fruit from Heyser Farms, Baugher's Orchard, and other local farms. Visit our About page for a list of our farm partnerships.

What are the differences between a hard cider, a fruit wine, and a traditional wine?

Hard ciders are made from either apples or pears and have an alochol content of 8% or lower. A fruit wine can be made from any kind of fruit (other than grapes) and may have a higher alcohol content. However, we often refer to our fruit wines as hard ciders because they are made in the same method.

The term traditional wine means that it is made of grapes and only grapes.
